ABOUT OUR HISTORY
Wade and Janet Doiron opened Doiron's Landscaping & Garden Centre in North Rustico in 1984. In 1993 the business was moved to Charlottetown. Their intention at the time was to have the highest quality of nursery stock and service available at all times for their valued customers. They are proud to still have the same goals and to have built up a loyal client base over the years.
Wade's love of plants started when he was a small boy. His father would take the family on nature walks on Sunday afternoons near his home. They would transplant trees taken from the wild. He enjoyed taking care of his trees and watching them grow and prosper. It was then that his knowledge began and that his love of plants was developed. His first job was with Island Nursery in 1976 where he worked for eight years before opening up Doiron's Landscaping with his wife.

The Doiron family is proud of the products that they offer to their customers. They carry a variety of products including: mulch, topsoil, compost, plants and more. Doiron's Garden Centre has a reputation for carrying the finest quality of stock that grows well in Prince Edward Island. Some plants they commonly carry are:

- Endless summer hydrangeas
- Fairview yews
- Boxwoods
- Male and female holly
- Royal red maples
- Emerald queen maples
- Dappled willows
